Description

Onas P. Matz was born in 1917, and raised on a farm in Southern Indiana. He taught school for 3 1/2 years before enlisting in the Flying Cadet program in 1940. He was a pilot and staff officer during WWII, flying all the Air Force inventory. Onas remained active in the Air Force Reserves until retirement after 30 years.  The book is illustrated throughout.
