Three volumes have already been published in this series about the GDR’s civil and military aircraft types. This fourth volume completes the presentation. Using documents and numerous rare photos from private and previously untapped sources, the reader is introduced to a largely unknown piece of German aviation history. Some photos and documents are made available to the public for the first time in this volume. A balance sheet of the GDR’s aircraft fleet shortly before its end is recorded here, as is an overview of the locations. An orientation guide included with the volume enables the reader to find his way around all four volumes more easily.
