This book intends not only to expand the aeronautical culture but has been written with an epistemological spirit.
The book has been divided in four parts: the first one shows the basic content and the second one describes the historical and technical progress of sailplane design and construction in a century. The third part intend sto show how to proceed to calculate the various sailplane parts, according to the EASA CS 22 rules; it is an introduction to a possible future project.The fourth part is connected to the basic structural calculation to be done in order to complete a project.
