Description

Volume 21 of the Aircraft in Detail series. The EA-6B “Prowler” was designed by Grumman and based on the A-6 “Intruder.” It is a carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft and was used by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps until they retired it in 2019. Over 350 photos, taken on land and at sea, show the aircraft both in action and in detail. From the wing folding mechanism typical of carrier-based aircraft to the air intake and cockpit (14 pages alone are devoted to the many details of the cockpit).

All areas of the aircraft are demonstrated through the photos to the modeller and aircraft enthusiast and explained through brief captions. Some operational photos, taken on board the aircraft carriers, complete the work.
