This second monograph in the series “Aircraft with History” tells the story of the Dassault Mirage M50CN Pantera No. 505 of the Chilean Air Force. In twenty-four pages details of its construction and service in the Armée de l’Air (ADLA) until its service in the Chilean Air Force (FACh) are published. This Mirage briefly operated in the ADLA as M5F in the Fighter Squadron 3/13 Auvergne and was sold in 1979 to the FACh as M50FC within a batch of eight aircraft, assigned to Aviation Group No. 4. A In the mid-1990s, it was modified to the Pantera standard, a modification carried out by IAI in conjunction with engineers and technicians from the FACh at ENAER. In 2007 it was withdrawn from service together with the rest of the fleet and today it is kept in the dependencies of the 2nd Air Brigade at Arturo Merino Benítez Airport.
