Because it is not possible to update our site continuously, there may be occasions when books that are shown as available are no longer available, possibly because they have been sold to visitors to our shop. If this situation arises please accept our apologies and we will of course advise you by email or telephone accordingly.

POSTAGE & PACKING

Postal charges are made at cost price to The Aviation Bookshop. We are unable to detail exact postal charges as orders are treated individually and the applicable charge is calculated accordingly. This is because we do not adhere to the often used formula on other retail sites of the postal rates being charged as '10% of total value of books ordered'.

We are pleased to advise you that we have signed a contract with Parcel Force to deliver larger packages Worldwide, as well as within the UK, at greatly reduced rates to their standard delivery prices. As an example, parcels weighing between 2Kg & 30Kg are charged at £6.00 for delivery within the UK.

Books will be despatched promptly if they are in stock. We have a dedicated packer whose responsibility is to ensure that all orders  leave the shop securely packaged so that no damage should occur in transit.
